The Masters Polo Cup: Old but not forgotten!!

From the 26th to the 30th of April, the Masters Polo Cup was celebrated in Casa de Campo and for the ‘master’ polo playes involved it was a great tournament – fun but with a bite of friendly-ish rivalry! Polo matches took place between the competing teams on Thursday the 28th of April and Saturday the 30th of April, when the team’s players, all aged 50 or more proved themselves to still have what it takes to command the power of a polo pony and thunder up, down and around the polo field in pursuit of a ball – not a feat to be taken lightly! Taking part in this tournament were 2 teams of polo masters: La Marina: Enzo Giviliano, Bobby Jimenez, William Reid, Marcos Zubrod Chamuscada: Jose Lopez, Alejandro Tirado, Federico Ramos, Vitin Hernandez In the final match La Marina thundered to Victory with an incredible win of 12 to 2! Congratulations! Following the successful end to the tournament, the players celebrated with a prize-giving ceremony out in the sunshine on the Casa de Campo polo fields and they continued their celebration a little later on with a delicious buffet dinner and a slightly rowdy few rounds of drinks at the Casa de Campo Polo Club! What fun!
