The Casa de Campo rumor mill has been churning again and this time we’ve heard that, the American cable network Bravo are planning another “The Real Housewives of” series – with women from our very own Casa de Campo.

The reality TV series, that follows the lives of affluent housewives and business women, premiered in March 2006 with ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’ with 6 more versions of the show having been created over the last 5 years; New York CityAtlantaNew JerseyWashington, D.C.Beverly Hills; and most recently Miami – with Casa de Campo next in line!

Having recently filmed a segment for the new series of ‘The Real Housewives of New Jersey’ in Punta Cana, (during which the lovely ladies were involved in a drunken brawl in the Hard Rock Hotel), Bravo executive Andy Cohen, felt that the Dominican Republic provided the perfect setting for an interesting new series. Cohen, whose family own a home in Casa de Campo, believes Casa de Campo and more specifically it’s housewives will make very interesting television and something which will appeal to a much wider audience, as the show will be filmed in ‘Spanglish’, Casa de Campo’s most prominent language.

Though not much is yet ‘official’, we have heard whispers that scenes will not only be filmed at key Casa de Campo locations, but also at many of our favourite Casa de Campo events, such as the Cafe de la Leche, MIR Family Weekend For Life and even the next Dueños event.

‘Castings’ could be taking place as early as this coming Semana Santa, with Bravo executives on the look out for potential housewives during upcoming events and in Casa de Campo’s hotspots; the Marina Casa de Campo and Altos de Chavón.

Exciting, no? So exciting in fact that although, I’m not a housewife myself, I’ve already made it very clear to my source, that I would very much like to take part…who’s with me girls?
