The Victory Bar/Club sits at the end of the Marina Casa de Campo’s Paseo del Mar, arguably one of the most picturesque, idyllic and tranquil locations in Casa de Campo with a stunning view of both the Marina and the ocean. To get there it’s a romantic stroll up the pier, which each your lady is wearing heals may require the help of a golf cart, but now that the Victory Bar has officially reopened and is open everyday from 4pm – their new food and drinks menu may be worth the journey!
Since it’s relaunch the Victory Club has repositioned itself as the ‘Victory Club Bar Lounge’ – the perfect place to enjoy an aperitif and/or a a light Italian meal. The have kept the menu simple; Italian Antipasto (RD$500),Bresaola ln Carpaccio (RD$450), Cheese Board (RD$450), Pasta del Chef (RD$350), Pizza(RD$200 a slice), a variety of Focaccia (RD$250) and salad (RD$250) – all cooked and prepared by local Italian chef Lisa Perrone, known to many as the wife of Lucas from Lucas restaurant in Buena Vista, La Romana.
They also have a nice selection of aperitifs, cocktails (prices range from RD$240 to RD$280), coffees (from RD$60) and of course dulces (prices from $200).
Unfortunately, we haven’t yet had chance to sample or experience the sunset at this beautiful venue but having briefly visited I must say the new decor is very enticing and the outside lounge would be a wonderful place to watch the sunset over a nice cocktail.
The Victory Bar Lounge is now open every day from 4pm and is located at the far end of the Paseo del Mar.
