Thanksgiving may not be a Dominican tradition and it is certainly not a Dominican holiday (meaning we don’t get a day off) BUT, Thanksgiving is still celebrated in the Dominican Republic – by many different groups of people and in many different ways!

Soooooo…..

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!

In Casa de Campo many families will be celebrating with a special Thanksgiving dinner at home or going out to enjoy a nice dinner at one of Casa de Campo’s restaurants. And don’t forget this Thanksgiving weekend we have a VERY special celebration on Saturday the 27th on Minitas Beach; Joli-Day Beach, a fun day for all the family, click here to read more!

Regardless of it’s religious roots, Thanksgiving is a day to give THANKS!! And for this reason it is a holiday that I like!

(If, like me you don’t know much about Thanksgiving, click here to read more about this American/Canadian celebration.)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone and please feel free to leave a comment below telling us what you are thankful for!
