The Dominican Republic..ANYTHING is possible! In this week’s ‘Only in the DR’ post I bring you a YouTube video made up of photos of the Dominican transport system – scenes ONLY seen in the DR!
I found this video on a FaceBook page called ‘You know you’ve live in the Dominican Republic when…..’ which is a homage to all the weird and wonderful ways of life in the DR.
For example: You know you’ve lived in the Dominican Republic when….
1. You use words like vaina, chin, and jevi as a part of essential vocabulary, and don’t care if other people don’t know what you’re talking about.
2. you’ve been waken up by the aguacate man.

Here is the video!! Notice the “mochivo” photo – one I’ve already used in a previous ‘Only in the DR’ post and omit the last photo – given the oriental-looking hats I don’t think they’re in the DR!
