As part of the ‘Ye Ol’Fashioned Hoedown’ (FIESTA AMERICANA) an American/Western themed party on Saturday July the 3rd, there will be a scrapbook-making and a jewelry-making workshop for children. For more information about the Hoedown, click here.
This event is being sponsored by Land Rover by AutoBritanica, who will be creating various automobile displays with their 2010 models of the Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and the Discovery 4 – beautiful, reliable and safe SUV’s ideal for manouvering over Casa de Campo’s many speed bumps and carrying the family safely into La Romana and beyond….
The event is also being sponsored by Jack Daniels Whiskey, who will be setting up a Jack Daniels Whiskey Bar – obviously NOT for the kids (over 18’s only), but a great way to keep mom and dad happy will the kids do a jewelry or scrap book making workshop…
The jewelry-making workshop is being offered by Iliana Nuñez, who makes her own line of jewelry called ‘Iliana Prado Customized Jewelry’ and the scrapbook-making class is being offered by Julissa Quintero, who creates her own range of chic accessories, ‘Accs by Julissa Quintero.’ Both of these ladies recently took part in the Casa de Campo Living Bazaar in Altos de Chavon.
Here are all details of both the workshops:
“Springs and Beads” Jewelry-making workshop
– A 1 hour jewelry making class: 4:30pm – 5:30pm
– For kids aged 5-12
– Maximum number of girls in class: 10 (so reserve your space early!)
– Each child will make 1 piece of jewelry: 1 necklace, 1 bracelet or 1 keychain
– At the end of the course each child will receive a jewelry-making diploma
– Cost: RD$200 (everything included)
“Scraping Kids” Scrapbook-making workshop
– A 1 hour scrapbooking class: 4:30pm – 5:30pm – For kids aged 7-12 – Maximum number of kids in class: 15 (so reserve your space early!) – Each child will make 2 pages of scrapbooking
– Scrap book themes: summer or cowboy/horses kit
– Participants should bring up to 4 photos to use in their scrap book
– Cost: RD$300 (everything included)

El proximo evento que tenemos pautado es el “YE OL’ FASHIONED HOEDOWN” una fiesta Americana el Sabado 3 de Julio. A efecturase en horario desde las 4:00pm en el Dude Ranch de Casa de Campo; contara con disfraces de vaqueros, bailes tradicionales, rodeo y polo en burros, exhibición de caballos, musica en vivo, BBQ, salon de whiskey, bazar, juegos de feria para niños y adultos y mucho mas!
Como parte de este evento tendremos dos tallers; un taller de joyería y un taller de scrapbooking (album de recortes).
