Following a long, fun day of golf and an exciting prize-giving ceremony, the guests at La Estancia golf resort on Saturday night the 1st of May had a blast enjoying the good food, drinks and entertainment at the after-party!
The after-party of the La Estancia Golf Classic was for the golfers, as well as special guests from Casa de Campo and La Estancia residents and so was a fantastic mix of people in the mood for a good party!
The party began with the prize-giving ceremony for the golf tournament – when I won a trophy (woohoo!), to see my photos of this and the list of winners, click here.
Almost immediately after the prize-giving a band started to play, the band that normally accompany Juan Luis Guerra – FANTASTIC! Within seconds the dance floor was full with everyone enjoying the classic merengue and salsa music – and despite the absence of my man I still had a cheeky dance (naughty I know!)
As well as the drinking and dancing (my favourite part) there was of course a fantastic dinner served buffet style, with all kinds of typically Dominican foods – perfect to satisfy a hungry golfer!
