The Hogar del Niño weekend events started with the homes and gardens tour and the final if the polo tournament and then Chinois, Chinese restaurant in the Marina Casa de Campo threw a fantastic party to celebrate the Chinese New Year! dancing dragons chinois Every year Susana Joa, owner of Chinois restaurant in the Marina Casa de Campo organises something special to celebrate the Chinese New Year and this year was no exception! At least a hundred Casa de Campo villa owners, visitors, friends and family enjoyed dinner at Chinois and were thrilled when at 8.30pm 2 dancing Chinese dragons and a procession of  dancers appeared to the beating of drums! The dragons and dancers performed in the Marina Casa de Campo’s main square ‘Plaza Portofino’ before entering Chinois and dancing around the tables – handing out Chinese candies and posing for photographs. Following the show I snook off in search of the dragons and managed to get up close and personal with them: It was a wonderful evening – thank you to Chinois for giving us another opportunity to come together and enjoy ourselves!
