This past weekend, which for some started on Wednesday the 2oth (I wish), and for others on Friday the 22nd of January, was the first long weekend (a.k.a party weekend) of 2010! For those of us who decided to stay in (or come to) Casa de Campo, partying at Palmilla was the obvious choice!
Whilst us at Casa de Campo Living had decided to escape Casa de Campo and spend the weekend at nearby Cadaques resort in Bayahibe (more about this to come), we were still lucky enough to be able to enjoy Palmilla; Cadaques has it’s own dock, so our good friends Sixto and Judy were able to pick us up, so that we could join the fun! (Thanks guys, we are very grateful, as always!)
With easily over 50 boats from the Marina Casa de Campo all lined up and parked at Palmilla – it was clear everyone was in the mood to party! Although, of course, the scene was not comparable to that of Palmilla on New Year’s Eve, there was still many families, friends and party animals splashing around in the water, sunbathing on the boats, or parading around on speed boats and jet-skis (myself included – granted a little pretentious, but great fun!)
While we roved around on Sixto’s speed boat we were able to capture the following photos:
