Casa de Campo resident, Carole Tremblay sells wines and a collection of other coveted and hard-to-find items such as Foie Gras from her website www.casawineshop.com and also now from a store in town.
THIS Tuesday the 15th of December Casa Wine Shop is hosting ‘Paseo en el Rio’ – a wine and food tasting evening on the River Chavon. It’s only USD$24 per person and Casa de Campo Living will be there, so you’re guaranteed a good night – with MANY photos!! More information click here.
Carole provided us with the following information about her business:
I opened my first store at Vinoteca del Este in October 2007, after re-organization I decided to restart by myself. With the help of some great friends who introduced me to the world of wine and to their direct contacts, I decided to dedicate myself to the importation of French, Italian and Californian wine.
I have a large selection of wines to chose from, however my recommendations are the following, prices are per bottle, but of course all are available by the case at a discounted rate.
Californian Wine:
Russian River Pinot Noir from Gary Farrell: RD$2,230
Buena Vista Carneros Chardonnay 2006: RD$980
Perry Creek Zinman (zinfandel) 2006: RD$750
Geyser Peak Sauvignon Blanc: RD$750
Italian Wine:
Brecciarolo DOC superior (rosso piceno) 2006: RD$665
Luvaia 2007: Maremma Toscana RD$955
Verdicchio di Jesi classico DOC 2008 RD$59o
French Wine:
Turbulent Preambule Rose (sparkling wine): RD$985
