Last Saturday night, the 31st of October, Papajacks bar in Altos de Chavon, Casa de Campo hosted a Halloween party!
The upstairs area of Papajacks – usually ‘Papajacks disco’ had been converted into a ‘haunted house’ for the ‘Papajacks kids Halloween party’ and so was spectacularly decorated with cobwebs, blood, chains, skeletons, rats and bats, and smoke – filling the already cave-like room.
The evening was promoted and organized by Julio Perez, more commonly known as ‘DJ JP,’ resident DJ at Papajacks disco.
The fancy dress costume competition was won by Omar Kuret, dressed as a woman – who won a bottle of Champagne.
Vanessa McLay, ex-Abraham Lincoln pupil and Casa de Campo resident, gave us this quote about the party:
“Halloween night was a night filled with wild costumes – Papajacks was crowded with many people from all over. Halloween is a definitely a night to remember! Everyone was enjoying themselves and getting a kick out of other people’s costumes.”
