At least thats what we are taking away from a brief article in the Diario Libre that was recently published, in which Mr. Tucker expressed his love of the Dominican Republic. Naturally, as we understand that when visiting our lovely island paradise, his destination of choice is none other than Casa de Campo.
LA ROMANA. El afamado actor estadounidense Chris Tucker, quien se encuentra en el país disfrutando de unas vacaciones y descansando de una ardua jornada de trabajo en las filmaciones de su más reciente película cuyo mayor parte del rodaje se realiza en China, dijo que le encanta este país.
La celebridad, que viene por cuarta vez a la República Dominicana, aprovecha para descansar en el entorno de la playa Palmilla que tiene como espacio favorito cuando visita al país.
“Vine a descansar, estoy bien agotado rodando mi última película en China”, dijo el actor, quien compartió con amigos en el restaurante Limoncillo de la Marina de Casa de Campo y la disco-bar Sangría de Altos de Chavón.
Tucker arribó en vuelo privado anteayer desde Trinidad & Tobago y tiene previsto regresar hoy a esa isla, donde revisa locaciones para el filme que rueda actualmente.
Tucker es un enamorado de las bellezas de la República Dominicana, donde en una ocasión realizó gestiones para invertir en bienes raíces. “Yo siempre me siento bien en este país encantador”, dijo.
El artista compartió con amigos y tenía previsto visitar miembros de la familia Fanjul, propietarios del Grupo Central Romana Corporation y quienes les han tributado aprecio y atenciones en ocasiones anteriores.

We are even more honored by the fact that Mr. Tucker, who was, at the time of his visit to Casa de Campo, working at Trinidad & Tobago decided to fly on over and spend some quality time in Casa, where he was spotted at Palmilla enjoying the day with Alejandro Lima and friends during the day and enjoying the post-Feria Andalucia events at Altos de Chavon’s newest night-time hang-out, Sangria Restaurant, Bar and Lounge.
