Chivas 18 was personally created by Master Blender Colin Scott in 1997, blending over 20 unique single malts. With something for everyone, every single malt whiskey drinker relishes its taste.

It is worth it to take a moment to inhale the aroma of Chivas 18. With rich with hints of dried fruits, toffee and dark chocolate, it awakens the senses.
When the moment comes to taste it, you’ll appreciate the velvety, dark chocolate palate, floral tones, and an element of smokiness. The aftertaste is extremely warm and long-lasting. A perfect finish.
Creator Colin Scott notes he prefers to drink it with a splash of cool water. A little chilled water takes the edge off the alcohol and in Colin’s own words, it also “brings out the flavors.”

Aberdeen Flip Recipe
Ingredients:
2 parts Chivas 18
1 part 12 year-old Oloroso sherry
1 whole egg
0.25 parts honeyed spice syrup
0.1 parts Fee Brothers’ Aztec Chocolate Bitters
2 tsp black cherry jam
Directions:
To make your own honeyed spice syrup bring 200 ml white sugar, 200 ml water, 3 tsp honey, 0.5 tsp ground cinnamon, three whole star anise and half a vanilla pod to the boil. Simmer for five minutes. Strain and leave to chill in the fridge.
Add all the ingredients into a dry cocktail shaker (no ice) and shake for 30 seconds. Fill the shaker with ice and shake for a further minute. Finally strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Chivas is the world’s original luxury whisky and one of the two strategic global icon brands within Pernod Ricard. Blended in Scotland since the nineteenth century, the production of Chivas whiskey started in the 1850s by Chivas brothers as a response to demand for a smoother whiskey. In the early 1900s, Chivas Brothers decided to create it’s most aged blended Scotch whisky to export to the U.S, where the booming economy after the turn of the century was fueling demand for luxury goods. The whisky was named Chivas Regal. It is now enjoyed in more than 150 countries.
