Daily flights between Miami and La Romana start Nov.20

This post is also available in: Inglés

Great news! Starting from April the 5th this year there will be daily flights between the La Romana airport and the Miami International airport with American Airlines affiliate airline, American Eagle.

The new service will be on an ERJ-145 jet aircraft which only has 50 seats, but with a daily service scheduled, there will surely be enough seats for everyone! For those of us living in Casa de Campo or La Romana this is great news for weekend shopping trips to Miami and if you live in the United States this will make coming down to Casa de Campo for a short break all the more tempting – especially because the La Romana airport is just a very short 15 minute drive from the gates of Casa de Campo so you can be off your plane and into your Casa de Campo villa within an hour! We have also heard that Casa de Campo may soon be opening a ‘short-cut’ road, which will cut directly into Casa de Campo from the main exit of the La Romana airport, making the drive from the airport very short! Miami (and Disney) here I come!
