What is happening in Casa de Campo this weekend? Good question….according to my sources very little, but of course there are always some things to do – the best option seems to be the Onno’s Bar ‘Sunday BBQ.’
When there is little else going on in Casa de Camo there is of course always the Marina Casa de campo cinema. To view the movie times and movie trailers, click here.
If you have kids you may want to enroll them for a few days into the Casa de Campo Summer Camp – they can enroll for just one day or for many more depending on how much peace and quiet you want! For more details on the summer camp, click here.
As far as I know the following is everything that is going on this weekend, not much I admit, but I have added some suggestions as to what else you may like to do…
Friday July 16th
- Orange Dream Art Exhibition @ Altos de Chavon Art Gallery, Altos de Chavon, open 9:00AM – 6:00PM
- Resident DJ Paul @ Onno’s Bar, from 10PM
- Resident DJ JP @ Papajack’s Disco
- Suggested activity: Take your family on a trail ride around the outskirts of Casa de Campo, just call the Centro Ecuestre to make a reservation, open 8:00AM-5:00PM. To read about my interesting trail ride experience, click here.
Saturday July 10th
- Orange Dream Art Exhibition @ Altos de Chavon Art Gallery, Altos de Chavon, open 9:00AM – 6:00PM
- Resident DJ Paul @ Onno’s Bar, from 10PM
- Resident DJ JP @ Papajack’s Disco
- Suggested Activity: Take a trip to Dominicus Beach, its a completely different experience from Playa Minitas in Casa de Campo, but is nice for a change! Although we don’t recommend you go on a Sunday – we went recently on a Sunday and it was a little too crowded!
Sunday July 4th
- Orange Dream Art Exhibition @ Altos de Chavon Art Gallery, Altos de Chavon, open 9:00AM – 6:00PM
- Onno’s BBQ Sunday @ Onno’s Bar, Altos de Chavon -> 6:00PM – 11PM. Come join us at Onno’s Bar this Sunday for a few chilled beers and sizzling meats fresh of the BBQ. Presidente beer only RD$99, burgers RD$200, to see the other great offers click here.
- Suggested Activity: Play the Dye Fore Golf Course before it’s closed for maintenance on July the 26th.
