Today, Monday the 1st of August the Teeth of the Dog golf course re-opened to the public!
Casa de Campo’s most famous and well-loved course, known for it’s stunning holes, which skirt the dramatic Casa de Campo coastline has been closed since June the 27th and today all Casa de Campo golfers can rejoice in the news that it is now open and ready to be played again!
Every year, each of Casa de Campo’s golf courses are closed during the summer months for approximately 1 month, for essential maintenance work to take place – however this year’s schedule has been a little different as Casa de Campo’s golfing facilities have undergone a major rehaul, which has included; the opening of the new ‘9’ in Altos de Chavón, a new driving range also in Altos de Chavón, as well as the renovation of the driving range at the Teeth of the Dog, in the main Casa de Campo hotel area and the Links, which is being partially re-designed and re-structured under the supervision of golf course architect, Pete Dye.
With such big changes underway in the Casa de Campo Golf department, here is a quick summary of which facilities remain open ans which are closed:
Of course the good news to remember is that the Teeth of the Dog is now open for us all to enjoy again!
