The Fundacion MIR receives a donation of Dell Computers

The Fundacion MIR is thrilled to announce that on March the 16th they recieved a wonderful donation of Dell Computers.

The donation of 10 brand new Dell computers from the company Autopista del Coral was gratefully received by the Fundacion MIR and will no doubt be received with great enthusiasm by the many boy’s at the MIR Esparanza boy’s vocational school.

Mrs. Lian Fanjul President of Fundacion MIR, Mrs. Lyanne Azqueta Executive Director, Mrs.Colombina Santana Principal of Politecnico MIR Esperanza (Boys School), and also Mr. Gerry Tiangco, Miss.Maritza and Mrs. Magdalena Cavazos were present to receive this very generous gift, which was officially handed over by Mr. Claudio Castro in charge of social responsibility, Mr. Juvenalito Gusmao Contract Director, and Mr. Gustavo Antunes Administrative Financial Manager of Autopista del Coral.

The computer lab in the MIR Esperanza boy’s vocational school will now have a total a 20 computers, and pupils will take courses on computer basics (to begin with), such as working with Microsoft Word, Excel and other basic programs.

Recently the Fundacion MIR held one of it’s main fundraising events of the year, here in Casa de Campo – The Magical Splendor for Life Gala and After Party by Praia.
