17 boats from the Dominican boat fleet took part in the 3rd International Regatta Presidente Cup 2009, which was held in the Casa de Campo Marina. The regatta started on Friday March 13th and ended on Sunday March 15th.

The celebration of this acclaimed regatta started with a Welcome Cocktail party in the Casa de Campo Yacht Club, before racing began on the Saturday morning. Following a successful day’s racing in the stunning Caribbean sunshine, competitors enjoyed cocktails and snacks at Le Botti Rio Marina Restaurant. The racing concluded on Sunday with the Regatta around Catolina Island and the end of a fabulous event celebrated over cocktails and snacks in the Naked Fish restaurant followed by the Award ceremony and music festival held in Casa de Campo’s beautiful Plaza Portofino at the Marina.
