Last night, Saturday the 4th of December the Casa de Campo and La Romana communities united for the Teatro de La Comunidad by Casa de Campo Living, in the Altos de Chavón Amphitheatre and it was SENSATIONAL! As ONE of the organisers and the glamourous Master of Ceremony of the event I would like to say that the show turned out to be better than anything I ever expected or even hoped for – every single one of our incredible participants (talented members of our community) were simply amazing! And my Spanish emcee-ing wasn’t half bad either – I think I discovered a new talent! Of course as the show was only last night, I do not yet have the photos or videos which were taken for us by Talento Domicilio (THANKS guys!), so in this post I would just like to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped, supported us and CONGRATULATIONS and THANK YOU to everyone single one of our talented participants – YOU ROCKED!! The above (TOP) photo was taken by Martin Briones, proud father of Alexa Briones, who won the prize ‘Sub-Campeon: Mejor Canto’  for her solo performance of ‘Love Song’ by Taylor Swift – which was very well deserved, Alexa Briones was incredible! The photo was taken at the end of the show (my favourite part) – when I invited the children of Orfanato back onstage for an encore of their dances (which everyone loved), followed by an encore of Alexa’s song – and all the other children in the audience joined them on stage to sing and dance! MAGICAL!!! The following is a video of Alexa’s great performance – the full video and photos will be coming soon! The following photos were taken with my BB during the show – MUCH better ones will be coming soon!!
