Last Saturday the 4th of December Casa de Campo Living and the community of Casa de Campo created a phenomenon in the Altos de Chavón Amphitheatre – the Teatro de La Comunidad! With an audience of more than 800 people of La Romana and Casa de Campo, our most talented (and brave) members of our small community performed in a show which was BREATHTAKING! CONGRATULATIONS to all!! (A leer Casa de Campo Living en Español, haz click aqui.) As I was the MC of the event, I was unable to fullfil my usual ‘photographer’ roll at the event – and so professional photos were taken for us by Talento A Domicilio, but unfortunately we are still waiting for them and so below I share with you some photos and videos of the event taken by members of the community. A DVD of the complete show, including the photos will be for sale during the Bazaar Navideño on Saturday and Sunday the 18th and 19th of December! Click here to read about the Bazaar Navideño.
Santa’s Little Helpers sing Jingle Bells: video by Patricia ProañoSarah Amelia Pereya and Valeria and Camila Alonzo thrill the crowd with their rendition of Jingle Bells – we loved the dresses girls!

Sebastian’s Surprise Performance of Besame: video by Patricia Proaño Two days before the show, Sebastian Rodriguez informed me (in Dom Ham) that he was going to sing in the Teatro de la Comunidad, at first I was surprised, then when he told me he wanted to sing ‘Besame’ capello I laughed and assumed he was joking. The next day when he turned up at the rehearsal, with the words in hand ready to practice, I was a little worried, but then he decided not to take part….until the actual show when Sebastian ceased the microphone and sang, enjoy the video!

The Belly Dance by the beautiful girls of the Centro de Danza Pointé: video by Liselotte Rijo The way these girls moved was fascinating, mesmorizing and sexy – now I’m desperate to learn!

The girls and boys of the Orfanato Niños de Cristo: photos and videos by Lludmila Perez-Herrera The very talented children of the Orfanato Niños de Cristo performed 3 different dances; ‘Baile del Gorila’ ‘Waka Waka’ and ‘Baby’ and the crowd went crazy for their performance – the kids were screaming so loud you’d have thought Justin Bieber himself was on the stage!
