Over the weekend, in between drinks with the ladies at the monthly Cafe de La Leche, wild Salsa dancing at Rio Marina and beer guzzling whilst watching the SuperBowl, we caught wind of yet another Casa de Campo Rumor – Eros Ramazzotti MAY be coming to perform in the Altos de Chavon amphitheater.
Eros Ramazzotti, an Italian singer-songer writer is one of Italy’s most popular artists, well-known in most NON-english speaking European countries and very popular in most Spanish and Latino countries around the world. The RUMOR is that he will be coming HERE, to Casa de Campo’s famous Altos de Chavon amphitheatre to perform in MAY.
During his 25-year career Eros has sold over 40 million records, released 15 albums and 35 singles. His music is a mix of soft-rock and pop. He has performed many duets with extremely prestigious singers such as Luciano Pavarotti, Cher, Tina Turner and Andrea Bocelli (who performed at Altos de Chavon last year.)
I’m sure if you’re from the latin world you are familiar with and love Ramazzotti’s songs, but if like me you’re English or from any other English-speaking country its possible you may not have even heard of Eros Ramazzotti! In which case you might not care that he’s coming to Altos de Chavon, if this is the case – I recommend you listen/watch the above YouTube video, you might just like it, after all the entire Latino community can’t be wrong…..
But REMEMBER this is only a RUMOR – which we hope will be confirmed next week, as soon as we know, we’ll let you know!
