Do you remember the fabulous pastry-bakery called Crema? Crema is currently based at the entrance to Buena Vista Norte in La Romana and operates from the owner’s kitchen. Crema has built up a fantastic reputation for baking the BEST cakes in La Romana (and possibly the DR), and now due to high demand from Casa de Campo residents, visitors and La Romana folk alike, they are palnning to open up a cafe-bakery in La Romana town.
If rumors are true, then hopefully we’ll be able to get a better taste of these mouth-watering delicacies, in a Cafe-like environment. Imagine yourself sitting in a comfy chair surrounded by the intoxicating smell of coffee and eating a delicious, spongy piece of cake!! How amazing would that be?
As far as we understand, the construction and renovation for the new Crema cafe-bakery is well underway and we hope almost completed – apparently the sign is already up outside, and it’s only a matter of time before we can announce it open – fingers crossed!
