Tonight, December the 29th, Casa de Campo’s elite will gather at Casa Grande in Casa de Campo for Emilia and J.Pepe Fanjul’s annual Cartier cocktail and dinner fundraiser, held in aid of the Fundacion MIR and the Hogar del Niño.
Everyone is welcome to attend this glamourous fundraiser which is divided into two sections; a cocktail followed by a dinner. Entrance to the cocktail is only US$5o and US$300 for the dinner, with all profits being donated to the two worthy charities.
Throughout the evening several special fundraising occasions will take place; a raffle, a silent auction and an exciting live auction. Tickets for the raffle have been being sold by members of the Casa de Campo Community for $10 over the last month and prizes include designer dresses and handbags from Oscar de La Renta, Carolina Herrera, Cartier and Ferragamo, while the grand prize is a surprise cruise!
Every year the pinnacle of the evening is the silent and live auctions – which always boast a number of priceless prizes. Although we do not know what prizes we can expect at this year’s auctions – we know they will be spectacular. Last year tickets to the New York Yankees’ opening game and exclusive Cartier gems were among the prizes.
If you have not yet bought your ticket to the event, don’t worry you can pay on the door, just make sure to bring plenty of cash or your cheque book – tonights the night to dig deep and give to a very worthy cause!
