Casa de Campo is famous for many things, one being it’s golf courses which are perhaps more famous than Casa de Campo itself! The Pete Dye designed golf courses; the Links, the Teeth of the Dog and the Dye Fore are without doubt wonderful golf courses, but the villas which line them are equally beautifully and fascinating. In this article I pay homage to the beautiful homes along the Teeth of the Dog golf course.
There are many gorgeous villas along the Teeth of the Dog, the following are on holes number 2 and 3, as I took these photos myself from the golf course I unfortunately have no idea what the villa names or number are – but I think they are all ‘Cacique.’
A great family fun vacation home – with a big gazebo and terrace area, here there are often hoards of children running around and playing in the swimming pool.

A tranquil Caribbean paradise with the ‘social’ areas slightly sperate from the rest of the villa

I LOVE this villa, it looks like an Carribbean-style English Cottage – stunning

I’m not much of an architect or even have much talent for recognising architecture, but this villa reminds me of Miami, so is this style a bit ‘art-deco’? It also remind me of a movie theatre…

This villa is a little like a Spanish Hacienda, with all the bedrooms set around a central garden, with the gazebo set up for dining and relaxing, its a great villa for winding down and enjoying the view of the ocean.

The tree house! Ok, so this house isn’t technically a tree house sen as it’s not built in, on or around a tree, but doesn’t it look like a treehouse anyway? It’s very Swiss Family Robinson – this is one I’d love to have a snoop around in!

This is the villa you see on the main road to the beach which looks enormous, and from the back it looks equally huge. It looks like the master bedroom and 2 of the guest bedrooms have huge patio windows and terraces with a spectacular view of the sea.

Casa de Campo now has over 1,000 villas and apartments (I actually think its more like 1,500, but I can’t remember), all of which have are beautiful and have their own defining features. These on holes 2 and 3 of the Teeth of the Dog have some of the best views of the ocean of all of Casa de Campo – from their gardens the view is across the Teeth of the Dog golf course and then there is the ocean, 100% beautiful.
