Last Saturday the 5th of June, a group of Casa de Campo party animals gathered together to celebrate the birthday of Leandro Cruz, a dear member of our Casa de Campo community and a wonderful friend!
The birthday party was held around the pool of one of the Los Altos building, with the bar and buffet set up in the gazebo area and the tables around the edge of the pool which was beautifully lit with candles and subtle lightning. And as Leandro and his partner Bob are such a wonderful pair, the guest list consisted of only more fun people (myself included of course!)
No expense was spared with either the food, decorations or drinks – everything was perfect, the guests were served our chilled drinks by waiters, who also passed around some tempting ‘finger foods,’ before the dinner was ready.
Dinner was roast pig – prepared the BEST way in a ‘Caja China’ – a wooden box with coals, that makes the pig’s skin extra crispy and delicious!
