Starting from THIS week, Onno’s Bar is launching a weekly schedule of activities and specials, which will appeal to everyone in the Casa de Campo community; 25% villa owner’s discount, movie nights, kids activities, BBQ, Cuban Night, Salsa, art exhibits and more! Think you know Onno’s Bar? Here is Onno’s new weekly schedule of events, activities and specials:
NOTE: all these specials start from Monday the 2nd of May, with the exception of ‘Artists Night’ which will start from Thursday the 12th of May.

MONDAYS is Resident’s Night!
Mondays is now something to look forward to!

  • A 25% discount on all menu items for Casa de Campo villa owners and residents including teachers and students of the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design and Abraham Lincoln School teachers! (ID must be shown)
  • A special dish created by chef Pedro Crispin
  • 9pm Movie: played on the TVs and projectors with FREE popcorn!

TUESDAYS is Cuban Night!
Baile, baile, baile! A fantastic night of fun, great food and dancing!

  • Feast on Onno’s complete and diverse menu offering tapas, pastas, pizzas, mexican delicacies and delicious seafood, such as lobster and shrimp.

  • A special dish focusing on the delicacies of our infamous Caribbean neighbor, Cuba.
  • Learn to dance Salsa (for FREE) with qualified dance instructors!

WEDNESDAYS is Mexican Night!

THURSDAYS is Artists Night! *Starts Thursday the 12th of May
A night for artists, art-lovers and everyone else looking for something interesting and different to do. Every week a different group artists (students and/or teachers) of the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design will exhibit their artwork and will be on hand to discuss their work, their ideas, and their inspirations.

  • Art Exhibit by artists of the Altos de Chavón Art and Design School
  • A fantastic opportunity see the talent and creativity of Chavón’s students, who come from the Dominican Republic and around the world
  • The chance to purchase selected art works for your Casa de Campo villa (before the artists get famous!) and the money raised will go directly to help out the students and the School
  • Food and drink specials!
  • Music and dancing

SUNDAYS are Family Friendly!!
From 5pm on Sundays, Onno’s will convert itself into a family fun center with FREE kids games and activities being ran by Casa de Campo’s department of Family Programs, as well as Dominoes and other entertainment for adults!

Fantastic Seafood
Onno’s Bar have great seafood on their menu everyday, here are some of the dishes we love:

  • Shrimp Cocktail; a classic dish, the shrimp had a great flavour and the cocktail sauce was perfect
  • Lemon and Garlic Shrimp Skewers; wonderful with a delicate flavour
  • Butterfly Fried Shrimp with Tartare Sauce; very good, naughty but not at all greasy!
  • Garlic Shrimp; perfect for garlic lovers!
  • Sizzling Chile Shrimp – shrimp sauteed in olive oil and chilies; VERY VERY spicy – not for the faint hearted, if you love spice you will LOVE it, otherwise, chose something else!
