Santo Domingo is modernising – over the past few years many new buildings have been going on, several of which are new ‘commercial centres’ otherwise known as shopping malls. One new mall which should be opening soon is Novo Centro.
The Novo Centro, located on Santo Domingo’s Lope de Vega is sadly not yet open for shopping, but the main structure is essentially complete – meaning that on a recent trip to Santo Domingo we were able to go inside and took a trip up to it’s roof which has, as you can see a very impressive view over the city. The roof top lounge is being used as a bar/cocktail party area – the ideal place to hold an impressive party.
At the moment we have no more news of Novo Centro, but when it opens or when we hear more news we will certainly let you know!
