cover New Year’s Eve 2009 at Playa Minitas was AWESOME and we have the photos to prove it…. I predict that NEVER AGAIN will Casa de Campo’s New Year’s Eve party take place at La Palapa, but will forever more be at Playa Minitas! Although many ladies (myself included) were rather worried about the practicalities of a beach party, sand + high heels = disaster, we needn’t have worried – the beach had almost entirely been covered over to create a giant dance floor with sofas and tables! It was the perfect solution – all the ambiance of the beach, with the beautiful sea as the backdrop, without any hassle with the sand AND with the water subtly fenced off – the danger of any inappropriate skinny dipping incidences was safely alleviated!! There is so much to say about the party and so many photos! Here are my first batch of photos – I will continue the story later…..
