Nacimiento Viviente MIR 2010: Tuesday 28th December!

This Christmas season, the Fundacion MIR, with it’s 2 schools the Politecnico MIR Esperanza (for boys) and the Politecnico Fundacion MIR (for girls) invite you to enjoy a magical Christmas presentation in Altos de Chavón – the ‘Nacimiento Viviente’ or the traditional ‘Nativity play,’ on Tuesday the 28th of December at 4:30PM (Debajo en Español.)

The Nacimiente Viviente MIR is an annual traditional in Altos de Chavón – one which brings the true Christmas spirit to Altos de Chavón and gives the children of the MIR’s school the opportunity to showcase their many talents! This year’s show, which is being held in the main plaza of Altos de Chavón at 4:30PM on Tuesday the 28th of December is being directed by local Casa de Campo resident Paola Treviño de Gonzalez, wife of Charlie Gonzalez who runs the Casa Montecristo Cigar Lounge and Store in Altos de Chavón, who offer FREE Factory Tours around their cigar factory – the Tabacalera de Garcia, the word’s largest handrolled cigar factory, click here for more details.

After this year’s show the Fundacion MIR will be selling cookies, hot chocolate and ginger tea, with all funds raised being donated back to the Fundacion MIR.
