Karen Shaler, abcNEWS travel show host falls in love with CDC

Casa de Campo is often visited by celebrities, such as Kanye West, Beyonce and Vin Diesel, TV crew filming reality TV shows, most recently the Big Break, models such as the Miami Dolphin Cheerleaders, shooting for their swimsuit calendar and of course journalists and TV presenters who come to find out how great Casa de Campo is! Most recently Karen Shaler, abcNEWS travel show host was here, and her report of Casa de Campo was aired this week on the abcNEWS.Karen Shaler is an Emmy award-winning TV correspondent,travel writer/blogger/photographer and she LOVED Casa de Campo, which given her very extensive travel experience is saying a lot, but is not surprising since we all know what a gem Casa de Campo is!!

During her stay here, she enjoyed visiting Casa de Campo’s famous Pete Dye designed golf courses; the Teeth of the Dog, Dye Fore and the Links, she learnt how to shoot and the shooting centre, she took a boat trip out to local beauty spot Palmilla as well as taking a tour around beautiful Altos de Chavón and enjoying dinner at Casa de Campo’s many restaurants.

Also whilst in Casa de Campo, Karen joined us for one of our events: the Don Julio Tequila tasting at the Yacht Club, which took place on Wednesday the 25th of August and was attended by many Casa de Campo villa owners and residents who enjoyed a great evening of Tequila drinking!!
