Julio Iglesias visits Charles Aznavour at sound check

This weekend was full of special moments for the French singer.This picture shows the moment when Julio Iglesias visited Charles Aznavour during his sound check prior to his concert at Altos de Chavón.

Mr. Iglesias, whom is also a great friend of Aznavour’s, will be part of the duets CD that Aznavour is currently working on. Other artists that will be participating in the project are Liza Minelli, Sting and Placido Domingo.

A few minutes after the concert Mr. Aznavour made an appearance at the Casa de Campo Marina where he was once more greeted with a huge round of applause. While at the restaurant a young man requested a toast and sang the famous song “Buen aniversario” to the delight of the french artist, whom later noted that he “celebrates the fact that younger generations love his music.”
