Inauguration of ‘Orange Dream’ art exhibit at the Altos de Chavon gallery

Last Friday the 2nd of July, just after the Cafe de La Leche, the Altos de Chavon art gallery celebrated the inauguration of it’s new art exhibit ‘Orange Dream.’ The artist Eunice Mateo is a Dominican, but is currently living in Thailand, from where she has brought her art to Altos de Chavon for the art exhibit for one month. Orange Dream is unsurprisingly a very colorful collection of oil paintings with vivid oranges, yellows and reds blended with cooler blues in psychedelic swirls and fascinating abstract shapes, which in some cases clearly represent figures or recognizable objects.
