The Hogar del Niño has just launched a new fundraising initiative – Green Bags, this cute bags are not only trendy but good for the environment too!
The bags have the motif “verde” (Spanish for green) and are intended to be used as shopping bags instead of the hundreds of plastic bags we get given by the supermarket every year! You can buy the bags with just the ‘Verde’ motif or you can have your bag personalised with your name or customised with some other word – I’m thinking of getting one with ‘Casa de Campo Living!’
The idea for these bags came from Eugenia Zimmermann and Tanjo Koeppler, who wanted to make people more conscience about the importance of our environment and how the repeated use of so many plastic bags from the supermarket is so bad for the environment.
The cost of the bags is as follows:
