It has just been announced that the annual FUNGLODE COPA golf tournament, this year will be played from the 11th to the 13th of December. FUNGLODE stands for the Fundación Global Democracia y Desarrollo, which translates as the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development and the FUNGLODE COPA is an event who’s main aim is to raise funds to finance FUNGLODE’s research, activities, projects and publications to strengthen deomocracy and human development here in the Dominican Republic.
The first FUNGLODE COPA was held in 2004 and was a great success, since then the tournament, now in it’s fifth year has attracted a varied group of national and international personalities, from business entrepreneurs to sports stars. As in previous years, you can expect that this year’s event will be accompanied by a whole series of social events and entertainment options for the participants and their companions.
