This Saturday the 27th of November is going to be a busy day here in Casa de Campo! As well as our Joli-Day Beach event (all day on Playa Minitas), a fun day for all the family, the Jenny Polanco Project is hosting an inauguration cocktail! Fortunately the two events are scheduled for different times so you can attend both!
Jenny Polanco of the Jenny Polanco Project in the Marina Casa de Campo cordially invites you to join her for an evening of cocktails, ‘Arabic’ snacks and iced tea, to introduce you to the new collection of ‘table accessories‘ or ‘Arte de Mesa‘ designed by Rocio Jimenez, which is new to the Jenny Polanco Project Store. Being exhibited as part of the cocktail will be trays, napkin rings, base plates, cheese plates and many more exciting and beautiful merchandise. Both designers; Jenny Polanco and Rocio Jimenez will be at the event to great guests and enjoy the event with us.
As Jenny is planning the evening in the style of a Cafe de la Leche, Jenny would like that guests bring with them a donation of a tin of milk for the Hogar del Niño (as is done at each Cafe de la Lechegathering).
The event begins at 6pm and ends at 9pm at the Jenny Polanco Project store in the Marina Casa de Campo.
About Rocio Jimenez Rocio Jimenez, the artist behind this NEW home accessories line and jewelry pieces, uses her notions of architecture, fashion and interior design to give everyday objects a unique beauty while keeping their basic functionality.
Born in the Dominican Republic, Rocio’s inspiration comes from nature, her energy from the ever present sun and her driving force from the ocean always in movement.
Organic shapes, natural stones and fibers, recycled elements and hand crafted details give life and soul to each of her creations.
Christmas seems to be a busy time for Jenny Polanco! Also coming up is an art exhibit called ‘Fashion as Muse’ which will be inaugurated on Saturday the 18th of December in the Altos de Chavón main art gallery – during our ‘Bazaar Navideño’ in Altos de Chavón.
