This summer the Altos de Chavon design school is opening it’s doors for the general public to get creative with a wide range of art and design courses. The courses run all summer, with the first course starting on July 15th and the last ending on August the 20th. As you will see from the below flyer there is a huge range of courses on offer, everything from drawing, interior design and branding to graphic design, jewelry-making and art therapy.
Each course runs for 1 or 2 weeks and prices are as follows:
One week courses cost: $500
Two week courses cost: $800
(includes tuition, lodging and airport transfers if necessary)If lodging and airport transfers are not necessary the cost is then:
One week courses cost: $450
Two week courses cost: $750
Since the courses are intensive, classes are held for 6 hours each day, five days per week. Typically, classes run from 9am to 12pm, they break from 12pm to 2pm and begin anew from 2pm to 5pm. This is a typical schedule, sometimes there are changes depending on the course and instructor.
The program is focused on providing instruction on specific skills or general content related to art and design. They are open to young high school students, university students, young professionals, hobbyists and people interested in art and design.
