sail Last Wednesday the 30th of December, while most of us were gearing up to party hard on the 31st, an intrepid group of sailors took part in the Casa de Campo Yacht Club’s 6th annual Commodore’s Cup.Here, Rafid Ynirio, Casa de Campo Yacht Club secretary tells us about it and reveals the results:
It was a perfect day to celebrate the VI CCYC Commodore’s cup 2009, the sun was shining, but with enough of a breeze to get the yachts going! Casa de Campo Yacht Club, host of this classic winter event, received many of its associates, friends and family to participate in this exciting regatta. Seven teams competed this year completing two rounds of regattas, with the final one deciding this year’s winners. And the results are: · 1st Place: Paolo Rinaldi, Roberto Rinaldi, Valentina Turconi and Simona Contiero · 2nd Place: Mitia Cugusi, Annalisa Tenti, Marco Quaglieru and David Forrester · 3rd Place: Team CROCE DEL SUD con Kerry Mentasti Granelli, Carolina Marengo and Igmar Toerring · 4th Place: Team APHEA SPORT con Giacomo Clerici, Urbano Clerici, Francesco Pece and Goujon Prune Congratulations to the winners and see you all next year!
