Today, Tuesday the 22nd of December, the new Casa de Campo hotel is open and ready for all to enjoy! Over the past week sections of the new hotel have been opening one by one, starting with the lobby area, followed by the gym and the pool and today at long last – the new La Caña Restaurant and Lounge by Il Circo will be completed and officially opened later this week.
Although we are all very anxious for the restaurant to open and excited to try out the new menu – before it can be opened to the public, the menu must undergo thorough tastings to ensure that only the best possible quality food is served! I am assured it will be open later this week – so exciting!
The photos you can see here were taking yesterday afternoon and as you can see the new hotel pool area is already a hive of activity and is proving very popular among hotel guests.
As well as the addition of many more sun loungers and the opening of the pool bar, the pool area has been greatly enhanced by the private areas – both the upper and lower pool areas have a section of sun loungers completely shaded, with curtains between the areas, which can be opened or closed to give privacy. So elegant and practical!
Also now open is the main entrance to the Cygalle Healing Spa – which is in exactly the same place as always, but is now much more prominently visible from the upper pool area. Don’t be deceived by it’s exterior – the entrance you can see is literally just that – the entrance, behind is a network of private massage cabañas and the magical Water Treatement Room. If you are yet to visit the spa or haven’t been recently – next time you’re at the pool, why don’t you call in and have a look at all they have to offer – I assure you, you’ll be very pleasantly surprised!
