The Bazaar Dueños 2010 in Altos de Chavón was a great day with so much to do, see and enjoy – here are some more of my photos from this successful event!
Dan the Juggling Man!
New Abraham Lincoln School teacher, Daniel Kerr (or rather Mr Kerr) is in his spare time a performer – he juggles and plays the squeeze box! At the Bazaar Dueños, Dan became his alter-ego ‘Dan the Juggling Man’ and wowed the Bazaar crowd with 3 juggling performances throughout the day! Dan’s performances were fantastic – he is both a talented juggler, whilst also being a little bit of a comedian, he had everyone captivating by his juggling and laughing along to his jokes! As well as juggling with balls and battons, Dan also performed with a mysterious glass ball, which he ran around his body – it sounds very strange but is truly fascinating! MANY MANY thanks for Dan for his participation!!!
The Altos de Chavón School of Design Students
As part of the day’s activities we invited the Altos de Chavón School of Art and Design to take part and so the students came and not only enjoyed the bazaar and the festive atmosphere, but also drew and painted the ‘bazaar scene’ and did portraits for the bazaar visitors. Using their artistic skills in this way, the students raised more than USD$700 for the school, to be used for their scholarship fund.

Emilio Robba Pottery Making
As well as offering a ‘brindis’ of fruit punch and rum punch the Emilio Robba Atelier had a live pottery demonstration given by one of the talented artisans who works in their pottery workshop to create the beautiful hand-crafted pots, planters and vases, Emilio Robba is famous for.
During the Bazaar Dueños 2010, I took more than 500 photographs, here are more of my photographs of Casa de Campo’s villa owners enjoying themselves!
