With new uniforms, new colors and whole new attitude our local baseball team has been excelling in the current baseball season!
Casa de Campo resident and owner of Chinoise Restaurant at the Casa de Campo Marina, Ricardo Bello, is credited with the concept of the new look of Los Toros del Este. He also created and leads the Toros del Este Fan Club, 100% Toro. Mr. Bello also composed the official Toros del Este Anthem which is now a staple for the 7th inning stretch. If this wasn’t enough Mr. Bello can be seen in every home game and most away games in the middle of the action leading the fans in cheers, chants to the beat of drums!
If you haven’t made it out to the Estadio Francisco A. Michelli, you are definitely missing out on one of the best fun filled experiences in La Romana outside of Casa de Campo! Even if you don’t follow baseball. The energy in the stands guarantees you will have a great time!
