The Ballet Performance, part of the Altos de Chavóns’s 30th birthday celebrations, is being brought to Casa de Campo by the Dominican Republic’s Ministry of Culture and the Central Romana Corporation. And as a special gift to Casa de Campo villa owners, residents, guests, friends and family, Costasur and Casa de Campo are inviting YOU to join this celebration at the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater – completely FREE!
About the Incolballet Performance in the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater:
This special ballet performance will be performed by a group of talented Columbian ballerinas, who are member of “Incolballet”, a famous Columbian ballet company, who will be touring the Dominican Republic as part of a cultural exchange between Columbia and the Dominican Republic. During their time in the Dominican Republic, “Incolballet” will perform in Santo Domingo and Santiago, with their finale performance taking place here in Casa de Campo at our wonderful 30 year old amphitheater in Altos de Chavón.
The performance in Altos de Chavón by Incolballet will incorporate, the following well-known ballet compositions:
• “Tangueándonos”, with choreography by Jorge Amarante, and music by Indris Joner and E. Blázquez
• “Memorias del dorado”, with choreography by Annabelle López Ochoa and music by Juan Sebastian Bach, M. Ritcher and Vivaldi
• “Barrio-Ballet” with choreography by Gustavo Herrera
About Incolballet
Incolballet consists of young ballet dance professionals, who with the support of major international choreographers was opened in 2000, a repertory that contributes to the artistic development of novice dancers. The company is led by the famous teacher Gloria Castro, founder of the Ballet Nacional de Colombia.
Incolballet, dance company, make on average over one hundred performances annually within and outside Colombia, in countries such as Russia, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Venezuela, Ecuador, Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Central America – and we are thrilled to have them here in the Dominican Republic at the Altos de Chavón Amphitheater.
