Victory Club: Events and Specials for February!

The NEW Victory Club Lounge Bar and Restaurant is THE place to be if you like to enjoy good food and drinks in beautiful surroundings! During the whole of the month of February the Victory Club are hosting a variety of different events: Salsa Classes, Dancing Fridays, a special Valentine´s Day dinner ‘Cena de Amor’ and a sunset happy hour – every day!  

The NEW Victory Club Lounge Bar and Restaurant is now being ran by Lisa Perrone, who is a fantastic Italian chef and who is working hard with owners Mauro Torriani and Giancarlo Ricco, to turn the Victory Club into a fun place for dinner and dancing!

NOTE: The Victory Club does NOT have a complete dinner menu, Lisa has kept the menu very simple, so that she can ensure a high level of quality using only fresh ingredients, on the menu you will find a nice selection of antipasto, breads, pasta and pizza. Simple and delicious. HOWEVER – Lisa also cooks fantastic seafood, if you call in advance (the day before, or in the morning), you can speak to Lisa yourself and pre-order your desired seafood dish.

EVERYDAY: Sunset Happy Hour!
Every sunset at the Victory Club is so beautiful it’s the perfect reason to celebrate! So the Victory Club has turned every sunset into happy hour with 2 x 1 drinks offers – what a great excuse to relax and enjoy the sunset over a few refreshing drinks! And Lisa has the perfect ‘picadera’ menu to enjoy over your drinks – delicious foccacia breads, meats and cheeses……HAPPY HOUR anyone?
Time: 5pm-7pm, everyday EXCEPT Monday (The Victory is closed every Monday)
Special Offers: 2×1 on Tropical Mojitos, vodka drinks, gin and tonic, glasses of white or red wine!

EVERY WEDNESDAY: Salsa a la Puesta del Sol – Sunset Salsa Classes!
Salsa, just like merengue is a classic latino dance which is sexy and great fun! Have you always wanted to learn to dance salsa? It´s easy and here is your perfect opportunity! What are you waiting for!?
Time: 6.00-7.30 p.m, every Wednesday
Price: RD$2,000 pesos per person or RD$3,000 per couple for 4 classes and RD$700 pesos per class
(the price of the class includes a soft drink or tea)

EVERY WEDNESDAY: The Salsa Buffet!
Whether you decide to join in the Salsa classes or not, following the sexy Salsa dancing Lisa a delicious Italian buffet dinner will be served with an array of picadera such as foccacia breads, anitipasto meats and cheeses, and a variety of perfectly cooked pastas. What could be more enjoyable than enjoying an Italian Feast on the Victory Club´s deck overlooking the Marina Casa de Campo?
Time: From 7.30pm, every Wednesday
Price: US$20 per person includes a soda and water.

EVERY FRIDAY: ‘Noche de Baile’ with buffet dinner!
Baila! Baila! Baila! Friday’s at the Victory Club is the place to dance the night away! Start the night with the Sunset Happy Hour from 5pm-7pm, then feast on a full Italian buffet, before dancing the night away to a mix of classic Latino rhythms and everyone’s favorite ‘pop’ songs!
Time: 5pm-7pm – Sunset Happy Hour, from 7pm – buffet dinner, from 9pm – music and dancing!
Price: Buffet – US$20 per person

Valentines Day, Monday the 14th of February: ‘Cena de Amor’
I honestly do believe that the Victory Club is one of Casa de Campo’s most romantic spots – especially around sunset, when the marina glows in a beautiful orange light and you can sit on their outside terrace watching the sun disappear into the sea. This Valentine’s day the Victory Club is opening for a special Valentine’s day dinner the ‘Cena de Amor’ – a magical night with great Italian food, live music and dancing!
Time: Dinner will be served from 7:00pm, however the Victory is always open for cocktails and appetizers from 4pm, so I recommend arriving from 6pm, so you can enjoy a romantic sunset cocktail with the one you love!
‘Cena de Amor’ Menu:
Arancini (Sicilian rice croquetas) • Vol Au Vent with Salmon Mousse • ‘Bocconcini di carne a la crema aromatica’ • Squid Salad (One of our favorite Victory dishes, click here to read more and for photos) • Champagne risotto with strawberries • Mousse de Afrodite (spicy chocolate mousse with strawberries) •
