Last Thursday the 23rd of December, Casa de Campo Living hosted THE ‘Kids Christmas Party’ at Onno’s Bar – a merry Christmas time celebration for Casa de Campo’s little ones, with music, dancing, games, a BBQ and a visit from Santa Claus! The party, which started at 4pm was fun-filled from start to finish with party games such as ‘musical statues’ or ‘estatuas’, ‘musical bumps’ and pass-the-parcel (which was my favourite game as it kept the kids sitting down and somewhat under control!)

Unwrapping the gifts during the pass-the-parcel game!

After all the party games, prizes, candy and a little too much Coca Cola and soft drinks from our sponsor CocaCola – it was time the the ‘Holiday Scavenger Hunt!’ For the ‘Scavenger Hunt’ we took the more than 30 little children over to the Altos de Chavón gardens, to help Santa Claus find all his lost Christmas Tree decorations and so with their Santa’s stockings the children ran around the garden and collected all the decorations they could find!

Looking for Santa’s Christmas Balls!

All the children arrived back to Onno’s bar very excited from the hunt – to find Santa Claus and his helpers were there to visit! The screams of excitement and joy from the children were quiet overwhelming and Santa was very quickly surrounded by kids climbing onto his knee and whispering lists of toys they wanted for Christmas! The party ended with a delicious BBQ provided by Onno’s Bar – burgers, hot dogs and fries. Yummy! Many many thanks to CocaCola for sponsoring this event and many thanks to Onno’s Bar and their staff for making the event possible, for helping me set up the event and keep all the little ones happy and under control!
