It is with great excitement and appetite that we announce that Oneburger is indeed opening a restaurant in Altos de Chavón and it will be opening VERY soon – YIPPPPPPEEEEEE!!!
The new Oneburger, a gourmet/boutique burger joint from Miami will be opening in Oneburger in the place previously occupied by Melissa’s Pastry Boutique, that is alongside side Papa Jacks bar. The restaurant will have both an indoor and outdoor seating area – the indoor with a bar, airconditioning and TV (for sports fanatics), whilst for the outside area they have built a large wooden deck.
Over the last few weeks Oneburger has been working hard to be opened and serving their huge variety of delicious burgers as soon as possible and we predict that they MAY be open by the end of the month – in time for my birthday!
About Oneburger
Oneburger’s founder, Daniel Guiteras describes their unique burger goal as “to create a modern burger (using the highest quality ingredients), that is a cut-above the standard fast food prototype, but still more affordable than a higher-end restaurant burger.”
On their Miami menu they have 15 different types of beef burgers, including the ‘Philly Burger’ (sauteed onions, bell peppers, mushrooms and american cheese) and the ‘Frita Cubana’ (seasoned Cuban style with finely chopped raw onion, shoe-string fries and salsa de tomate) – and both are only USD$6.95, thats about RD$250.
In addition to beef burgers they have chicken and turkey burgers, seafood burgers, house-made organic veggie burgers and a broad selection of sides (yuca and sweet potato fries!) and salads – even a daily soup selection. Rounding out the menu are “old school” milkshakes in a variety of inspired flavors like white chocolate oreo and strawberry vanilla bean.
To give you an idea of what the kind of delicious burgers, wraps and salads to expect at Oneburger, this is their Miami menu (the Altos de Chavón menu will include most of these dishes):
