NineCircus Rocking Out for a Good Cause!

After a successful night of rocking out to NineCircus, for a good cause of course, we’ve been informed that the show at the Marina Casa de Campo Palapa was just the beginning.  There is a lot more to be seen from this up-and-coming musical group, as can be seen by their post-concert press release below.  Naturally they also go on to thank everyone – though conspicuously they seem to have forgotten to pay tribute to their friends at Casa de Campo Living, for which we will forgive them this time around.

On Sunday January 25, 2009, the band NINECIRCUS presented their “ULTIMATE ROCK SHOW” with great success @ La Palapa in Casa de Campo. This show marks the beginning of a National Tour this alternative rock band will be performing during the first half of 2009.

More than 700 people enjoyed the show that has been designed under the concept of a “MIXED-CONCERT-PARTY”. On this occasion the band was accompanied the talents of vocalist MARA TABAR & DJ CONRAD WITTKOP, to the enjoyment of a large group of the bands followers present @ the venue, with a mixture of the favorite songs from their first album such as: DON’T SELLOUT, KEROSENE & TUESDAYS that had reach the top spots on the Dominican music charts, as well as re-edited songs of such groups as: Snow Patrol, Depeche Mode, The Killers, Paramore, Katie Perry, The Police, Evanescence, Coldplay, among others.

NOVEMBER DAWNINGS, the first single of the new production the band is working on, was officially presented at this concert. This has also represented NINECIRCUS first step in their career in which they intend to take strong steps in helping the Dominican Republic. That´s why part of the benefits collected from this single, as well as a part of the benefits obtained on NINECIRCUS “ULTIMATE ROCK SHOW” @ La Palapa, have been destined towards FUNDACION MIR (Mission International of Rescue), a non for profit organization that among its different medical and educational projects helps children, teenagers and women of the neediest families on the eastern region of the Dominican Republic.

The band NINECIRCUS wishes to express their deepest thanks to the people that assisted to this event as well as all the hard work and support of everyone that helped in this endeavor, specially to Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, Skypro, Casa de Campo and La Marina de Casa de Campo.

Este recién pasado domingo 25 de enero se llevó a cabo con GRAN ÉXITO el espectáculo NINECIRCUS “ULTIMATE ROCK SHOW”, espectáculo que marca el comienzo de la gira nacional que realizará esta banda de rock alternativo a partir de marzo del presente año.

Mas de 700 personas disfrutaron el espectáculo diseñado bajo el concepto de “MIXED-CONCERT-PARTY”. En esta occasion la Banda se hizo acompañar de los talentos de la vocalista MARA TABAR y el DJ CONRAD WITTKOP deleitando al numeroso grupo de seguidores presentes en LA PALAPA, MARINA DE CASA DE CAMPO, con un recuento de los temas de su primera producción tales como: DON’T SELLOUT, KEROSENE Y TUESDAYS que alcanzaron los primeros puestos del ranking nacional, así como re-ediciones de temas de agrupaciones como: Snow Patrol, Depeche Mode, The Killers, Paramore, Katie Perry, The Police, Evanescence, Coldplay, entre otros.

NOVEMBER DAWNINGS, nombre del primer sencillo que se desprende de la próxima producción de la banda NINECIRCUS y que fue presentado oficialmente en el concierto, ha sido para el grupo el inicio de una nueva etapa en su carrera donde han decidido dar pasos firmes para ayudar a nuestro país. Por eso parte de los beneficios recaudados por este sencillo, así como del espectáculo NINECIRCUS “ULTIMATE ROCK SHOW” @ La Palapa, han sido destinados a la FUNDACION MIR (Misión Internacional de Rescate), organización sin ánimo de lucro que con sus diferentes Proyectos Medicos y Educativos brinda apoyo a ninos, jovenes, mujeres y familias desfavorecidas en la Region Este de República Dominicana.

La banda NINECIRCUS manifiesta estar altamente agradecida de la respuesta del público y reconoce el trabajo y esfuerzo de todos los que los han apoyado en este camino, en especial a la Cervecería Nacional Dominicana y a Skypro, Casa de Campo y La Marina de Casa de Campo.
