Dueños 2010: Sporting Events POSTPONED!

We are VERY sad to announce that ALL sporting events for the Dueños 2010 event this weekend have been POSTPONED!

As I am sure you have noticed, it has been raining A LOT and it is still raining A LOT and it would appear that the rain is predicted to continue throughout the day tomorrow, Saturday the 9th of October, therefore making any sporting activities impossible! This is very sad news, but we have been assured that the sporting events will be rescheduled and the party tomorrow night will still go ahead, woohoo – every (very large, rain-filled cloud) has a silver lining!

The Dueños Bazaar 2010, planned for this Sunday the 10th, between 11am and 7pm is still going ahead, according to current weather reports the rain will have STOPPED by SUNDAY and so we are hoping for a nice sunny day for the bazaar! Please keep checking the website in case anything changes and we are forced to postpone the bazaar!

Dear Villa Owners,

Due to the heavy rains of the last few days, which according to the weather forecasts will continue affecting our region, we have decided to postpone the sports activities programmed for tomorrow, Saturday, October 9th, as part of the celebration of Dueños 2010. In the days ahead, we will reschedule these activities and notify you of the new date.

Both the delivery of souvenirs today and the gala dinner tomorrow night at Romana Country Club are still taking place, and we look forward to the priviledge of your attendance.

Debido a las fuertes lluvias que hemos experimentado y que segan los pronósticos, seguirán afectando nuestra region, se ha decidido posponer las actividades deportivas programadas para mañana, sábado 9 de octubre, como parte de la celebración de Dueños 2010. Más adelante avisaremos por este mismo medio la fecha en que las mismas
serán celebradas. La entrega de souvenirs de hoy y la cena pautada para mañana en la noche en el Romana Country Club permanecen sin cambio alguno, por lo que esperamos tener el priviligio de su asistencia.
