Debuting next month, Caribbean travelers vacationing at the 7,000 acre Casa de Campo resort, will enjoy not only the new Elite rooms and contemporary main hotel area, but also more cultural options at the resorts’ unique artist village and cultural center, Altos de Chavon.

Beginning this Holiday Season, visitors to Altos de Chavon will find a new sports bar, a trendy dance club, and Casa Montecristo, a chic new cigar lounge by Tabacalera de Garcia, the largest hand-made cigar factory in the world, who will also be offering free factory tours to hotel guests.
Altos de Chavón is an architectural wonder, the replica of a 16th century Mediterranean village located within Casa de Campo, perched high above the Chavón River. It is a center of culture and the site of many fine restaurants, boutiques, museums and La Escuela de Diseño, affiliated with Parson’s School of Design in New York. It also features the Archeological Regional Museum with pre-Columbian Taino artifacts, the recently inaugurated World of Amber Museum, and the Altos de Chavón Art Studios by Emilio Robba, offering beautiful ceramic, weaving and serigraphy collections hand-made by local artists. Chavón’s 5,000 seat Grecian style amphitheatre, was inaugurated by Frank Sinatra in 1982 and is the site of many international concerts and performances, most recently including Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Enrique Iglesias, Carlos Santana, Charles Aznavour, and Il Divo.
This Winter guests can take advantage of new getaway packages valid on 5-night minimum stays when purchased with room only or the inclusive package.
