let's party!! Having only lived in the Dominican Republic for 2 years – I often still struggle to find the things and places I need, which means if it can’t be found in Casa de Campo or Jumbo I’m basically lost! And so when the need arose for a fancy dress costume – for Patricia Proaño’s Mardi Gras party and for our Ye Ol’Fashioned Hoedown, I sought out the help of a ‘capitaleña’ friend who directed me to ‘Let’s Party.’ let's party!! side photo‘Let’s Party’ is an absolutely wonderful store! I LOVED it! Although it is not as large as I had imagined, but it is completely full with every possible type of party decoration, costumes and accessories you could imagine. They have an entire area devoted to party hats – cow boy hats, patterned hats, furry hats, jester hats, pirate hats and hundreds of different types of coloured and glittery wigs. They have a huge assortment of masks, a whole shelf of coloured beads, feather boas, coloured and shaped crazy glasses as well as a number of complete outfits. Literally everything you need to create that perfect costume! And if you are the one organising the party they have everything you could possibly need to decorate and prepare. They have piñatas, wall decorations, themed cups, plates, invites, napkins and decorations. There are party games and so many different types of balloons you have to choose what you want from a display book – and if you want helium in your balloons so they float up, they will fill them up for you. ‘Adults Only!’ ‘Let’s party’ is a store with a strong focus on fun, partying and games and with their special ‘adults only’ section you can buy whatever takes your fancy for some more intimate fun. The store can be found in Plaza Naco in Santo Domingo.
