This month’s Cafe de La Leche is being held on Wednesday the 7th of April, that’s right ladies on a Wednesday, which is a little unusual, but is sure to brighten up the middle of the week!
April’s Cafe de La Leche is being held at the Casa de Campo home of Sally Crasso, Las Palmas #28 and will start from 5pm. The gathering will, as always involve some delicious food and drinks and a healthy about of chatting.
Please remember to bring with you your donation of dried milk, formula or cereals and if you cannot attend remember the Hogar del Niño will happily arrange to pick up your milk donation for you, contact them at: info@pbo.org.do
The Cafe de La Leche is a monthly fund-raising event held to gather milk and cereals for the children and babies of the Hogar del Niño – a children’s day home in La Romana which has over 200 hungry baby-mouths to feed everyday! The milk donated at the Cafe de La Leche afternoons makes up more than 26% of the milk fed to these babies every month.
