Later this week, from Thursday the 23rd of June through to Saturday the XLIV ‘Campeonatos Nacionales’ (Golf National Championships) will be played on Casa de Campo’s famous Pete Dye Designed golf courses; the Teeth of the Dog and the Dye Fore in Casa de Campo La Romana and as part of this grand celebration, Orange Dominicana the main sponsor of the event will host a cocktail in honor of Pete Dye.
The cocktail in honor of Pete Dye, renowned golf course architect, is scheduled for Saturday June 25th at 8:00 pm to be held on the terrace of Dye Fore.
The activity will be led by Orange executives: Eduardo Valcárcel, Vice President of Communications and Vincent Bouyer, Vice President of Finance, as well as Monika Despradel, Public Relations Manager and Claudia Escobar, Promotions Manager, whilst John Cohen, president of FEDOGOLF and Rafael Canario, Executive Vice President will be in attendance.
The championships will be held in the form of stroke play with male and female categories, at the end of which the Dominican Republic’s National Golf Champion will be selected and will represent the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean Golf Championships to be held in Trinidad and Tobago this year from July the 31st to August 7th.
The event will be sponsored by companies Samsung, Coca Cola, Dasani Water, Powerade, Brugal & Co. Buchanan’s, Smirnoff, Viamar Group, Banco BHD, Segas, BB Kings, Miller, Nivea, and Mercasid Induveca.
